The tripartite role of the parent
company is an important parameter in the organizational structure of
the group. Towards the subsidiaries, two specific categories of
tasks are focused:- Corporate functions
- Supportive functions
In addition to these obligations the parent company is also
responsible for:
- Direct marketing, sales and operational functions
The corporate functions are governed through the Board of
Directors of each subsidiary. The CEO and the CFO of Reime NIS
constitutes permanent members of the Board of Directors of each
subsidiary, securing decision-making on: - Strategies and
business plans, as well as budgets and forecasts
- Business guidelines covering legal aspects, ethical aspects
as well as more practical
- guidelines securing a certain harmonization of the global
business
- Organizational structures, top management
- Management Operational reporting from each CEO
- Management Administrative reporting from each CEO and
accounts
The supportive functions are provided to each subsidiary
through a matrix organisational structure of the group. Each Reime
NIS manager safeguards the professional performance within his own
sphere of every subsidiary. In this respect, each manager of Reime
NIS is taking on the role of QC management. Reime NIS is ISO 9001
certified by ‘Det norske Veritas’.Additional to the above, the
following supporting functions are focused by Reime NIS: -
Product development
- QC functions
The sales and operational functions
constitute the direct business performance of the parent company.
Limited sized projects at locations where management cannot justify
incorporating a legal entity, will be run directly under the parent
